How it works
X12 EDI is a stream of segments separated by a terminator, with elements separated by a delimiter. Both are read from the fixed-width ISA header. The tool checks that every ST has a matching SE with the right segment count, that GE and IEA counts and control numbers agree, and (for invoices and POs) that TDS totals match the line items.
Fields are shown with plain names. This verifies structure, not your trading partner’s implementation guide.
